Take-Two has revealed strong sales figures for Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire.
The former series has shipped 11 million units since debuting in May 2010, including two million copies of standalone retail release Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, while the latter has shipped four million units since its release this May.
Despite the strong performance of the two franchises, Take-Two reported a loss of $8.6 million (£5.3m) for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30, compared to a profit of $27.4 million (£16.8m) a year earlier. Sales for the three months were down from $375.4 (£230m) to $334.4 million (£204.5m).
Late last month, Rockstar announced plans to release free DLC for Red Dead Redemption this September in the form of the Myths & Mavericks Bonus Pack.
