You may not be able to attend Germany's Gamescom expo in person, but you can certainly be there virtually via PlayStation Home.

Sony has confirmed it will be bringing the show - or its press conference at least - to Home via a new dedicated Gamescom space.

"On August 16th at 5pm CET the space will be available from the Navigator and the What's New section of the XMB," explains Sony. "We will be streaming the Sony press conference live into the space from 7pm CET onwards, but don't worry if you miss it the first time round; we will be looping the hour long press conference once it's finished and we will also be putting up video edits in the space later on."

Of course, CVG will also be on the ground in Germany reporting live from the show, so if you fear braving the chicken dancers and female stalkers in Home you can also stay glued to your web browser right here.

Also on Home this week: Double Time Baseball, larger token packs, Audi and more. Head through the source link for more info on what's new in Sony's free social app.
