The much rumoured Syndicate reboot from Darkness developer Starbreeze could be revealed at Gamescom.
He said earlier: "Grand moment approaching. The reveal for # Starbreeze and EA's project # RedLime time to meet the press."
The Tweet has since been removed, which will only add fuel to the fire for some.
The Syndicate reboot has been fading in and out of existence for some time, with rumours of confirmations and cancellations causing confusion since last year.
A leaked Syndicate script was the last we heard from the title back in May.

Starbreeze strikes me as a pretty strange choice of developer to resurrect the franchise though

I have a friend who worked at Starbreeze until he got sacked. He says that this is going to be a side crolling 2D shooter only available on the iphone. Apparantly it's been reworked to play like flashback. Sounds more like Robocop vs Terminator.
