Ninja Theory has released a new trailer, screenshots and artwork for DmC, the Devil May Cry reboot that's currently in development for publisher Capcom.
The gameplay trailer and screens show the new-look Dante slicing and dicing a few unfortunate enemies. There's also a couple of cool bits of artwork, both of which have a 'good versus evil, angels and demons' thing going on.
Late last year, Ninja Theory revealed the team's thinking behind Dante's new look, while the first DmC gameplay trailer was released during E3 in June.

Absolutely love it, looks so amazing and fresh. Loving the new Dante and gameplay videos, and love the little clip of Dante with the red coat and white hair!

I'm on my own then, looks like a mish mash of different visual styles, i.e. the dev didnt know what direction to take. The combat swish anims look ok but out of place IMO.
I think they've lost me as a day one buyer as I used to with DMC games.
Higher hopes for Z.o.E though

Looks like they took the traditional DMC animations and pasted them into the engine for Enslaved. Just doesn't do anything for me.

What was the point of creating emo-Dante if the locales and gameplay are the same as before? Like Ridge Racer "Unbounded" this seems like another Western adaptation that doesn't understand what made the original great. Why don't we get Ubisoft to reboot Metal Gear Solid and make Solid Snake a middle-aged woman?

People are just way to critical. Id hate to think that this game doesnt do well because of the way the character looks to me that just seems silly. Im sure it will grow on people it has to be better than the previous games and if thats the case than thats a plus to me. To me the game looks amazing. I try to reserve judgement until after ive played it.

While the gameplay looks very promising, they obviously worked very closely with Capcom on this, it's still not Devil May Cry without the old Dante.
