GC 2011: New Gears of War 3 screens show campaign, Horde 2.0

Epic and Microsoft have released new screenshots for Gears of War 3.

The campaign screens feature Marcus and the gang taking on Lambent of all different shapes and sizes - including a massive Leviathan - as well as a chapter where the player takes control of Cole during a return to his home town Hannover.

The Horde 2.0 screen shots show off some of the new traps and enemies that players will encounter in the mode. We're looking forward to bringing down that Brumak in co-op.

Epic said this week that those who downloaded the leaked version of Gears of War 3 and posted spoilers or footage on the internet may be banned from playing the final game when it releases on September 20.
