DICE has just revealed and played through a new Battlefield 3 co-op Mode at GamesCom in Cologne.

The mission, which is playable at the EA booth at GamesCom required the pair to rescue a high-value target and escort him to safety.
The co-op mode features the full range of Battlefield gameplay including ground and air vehicles, missions and tight urban warfare, and appears to be a standalone set of missions unconnected to the campaign. We'll bring you more as it comes.
For now though, check below for eight new Battlefield 3 screens straight out of GamesCom.

So whats the map called?
'Supermarket', or just 'co-op'?
Actually, I guess they could use the name 'The Co-operative' as thats its real name not abbreviated.

Will this co-op mode contain 64 player (mostly bots) battles as well? I loved the Instant Action mode in Battlefield 2142/2/1942/Vietnam where you can play a regular multiplayer mode but with bots. You could also fill in some of those positions with players. Basically a mode where you can fill empty spots with bots and can be played offline as well would be awesome.
