EA announced a Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning release date during its GamesCom conference in Cologne only moments ago.

"I can't wait for you to get your hands on Reckoning and test out the combat for yourself," he said on stage. "Until you've really played it, you just don't have any idea how much fun it is."
Of course, you lot have some idea at least because we've told you.

Yeah, Reckoning will be good, but I don't think it's the hangover cure for Skyrim. I think it will be popular at a steady rate, but not a hot seller right away. I'd like to be wrong though. It's just that there's so much content in Skyrim.
Edit: Actually there won't be a hangover until much after February, Skyrim will keep us high for a while.

Reminds me of Fable a bit. Should be a good RPG though fingers crossed.
