Sony said during its GamesCom conference last night that all PS Vita games will be downloadable via the PlayStation Store.

The platform holder also announced last night that free, dedicated Vita apps for popular social networks Facebook, Foursquare, Skype and Twitter are in the works.
What it didn't confirm was a Vita release date or software pricing. All eyes now turn to next month's Tokyo Game Show.

I'm going to have to think which direction I want to go in. I love my physical media, and to stare at the spines on my shelf. But it's kind of tempting to save space.

PLEASE can anyone tell me if you will be able to download HD movies from the PS Store for the Vita??? Or are Sony releasing this info at a later date? Because HD films will look incredible on that screen!

Sony are really in on this social networking movement! They've added so many great features to the already great XMB, new iplayer, itvplayer and 4OD to name a few - you can't complain about service - they really have turned the ps3 into a true media hub. I often hear people complain about XMB and PSN - I personally believe but they're excellent services.
Nintendo -Sony have shown you the way - it's about time you followed.
