Sega has released a few new Aliens: Colonial Marines screenshots.
As you can see the screens look pretty darn good, with plenty of dark, moody environments and alien critters running around causing mischief. We still can't tell if the screens are taken from real-time, in-game action or cinematic cut-scenes though.
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford said earlier this month that the game will be "very accessible".
Sega has confirmed Colonial Marines will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in spring 2012.

Looks great, but am I missing something? This game is set AFTER Aliens right? They're looking for Ripley and the team? If i remember correctly, they flew out of LV-426 with a nuclear explosion burning their backsides.

Ahh but the relief ship was sent out before that and the company has elected not to tell the relief crew about whats happened on Acheron in the hopes they can secure a living specimen.
God i love the Aliens universe (even more than i love the corps).

This game has the potential to be the best thing since sliced bread, or a massive bloody disappointment. I really hope its the former, a decent Aliens game would be off the charts awesome. If a brilliant Aliens game were ever to be made, I think the world might implode.
