Far Cry 3 is looking epic and we have some new screenshots straight from Gamescom, Germany.
As Ubisoft explains: "Far Cry 3 players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island cut off from civilization. In this savage paradise where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players will dictate when, where and how the events of the game unfold. Players will slash, sneak, detonate and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of right and wrong. "
According to its creators, the Ubisoft shooter's maps will be around ten times the size of its predecessor's - and there's a number of strategies you can adopt to cross them.
These shots look great, but they don't show the points flashing up on screen for every action carried out or the annoying flashing weapons all over the place.
Seriously, am i the only one that gets annoyed by all the on screen clutter, ok maybe alright in the multiplayer but not in the campaign.
Looks great. Very pretty game. I love FarCry and will be getting this. I'm hoping the annoying respawning is gone and the enemy A.I is reworked but the atmosphere has always been perfect in the FarCry games and I'm sure this will be no exception in that department.

Thats kinda what i was thinking. If anything the screenshots dont look as good as it did running but the shots look great.

I was suckered into Far Cry 2 with impressive screen shots and vids and ended up hating the bloody game!
This time I'll wait to see what people think before I buy FC3.
