Darksiders was a much underrated game which still gets a lot of love here in the CVG office and to celebrate the sequel's GamesCom appearance, THQ has unleashed a brand new set of shots.

However, War will take a backseat for the sequel and this time you'll be controlling his brother Death, who will travel through the world of the Abyss and attempt to restore humanity after its destruction during the Apocalypse.
Vigil told us last month that Wii U development has been tricky, and that the team has been "heavily inspired" by Zelda.

I enjoyed the first Darksiders and this sequel sounds to be heading in more of an RPG direction which is even better.

Enjoyed the first game, thought the dungeons and boss battles were great. For me,it's the game's open world that was lacking as there was no sense of scale,it was broken up into too many small areas and tunnels.
Think the Wii U comment is a bit misleading. Vigil were praising how easy it was to develop for, then Nintendo updated the dev kits so they had to change some code. Naughty,C&VG. Very naughty.

Loving the artwork. Purple and sea green are good video game colors.
