GC 2011: Sine Mora: 10 minutes of sweet gameplay

Sine Mora is the work of Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture, in collaboration with Digital Reality, who look set to prove that scrolling shooters will never die.

The time-bending downloadable shooter is the first of multiple titles to come from a new collaboration between Suda's dev team and the Hungarian developer.

It's described as "an innovative shooter ... which mixes traditional side-scrolling gameplay with unique time manipulation mechanics", all tied together with a diesel-punk art style.

The video below shows the entire Gamescom playable demo, which lasts 10 minutes and spans three gorgeous-looking levels. We've got new screenshots, too.

The game's due out on PSN and XBLA this winter.
