This is what Battlefield 3 will look like on Apple's devices.

The iOS version of the game will be called Battlefield 3: Aftershock. It won't have a full campaign story, but it will instead have a bunch of Horde-like shooting challenges that put you up against increasingly difficult waves of enemies in a range of arenas.

There'll also be your usual selection of multiplayer modes that'll have you facing off against other players online. It'll also pack Origin integration.

These screens are labeled 'iOS' but from the dimensions they look like iPad shots.

Could be cool, just don't go in expecting a portable version of the full-fat PC blockbuster hitting shelves this October.
