Valve has released the first trailer and a few details for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the latest iteration of its massively popular multiplayer shooter.
Unlike previous Counter-Strike games, Global Offensive is being developed simultaneously for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. According to early reports it'll launch with at least seven maps, accommodating the game's trademark bomb defusal and hostage rescue modes.
Maps included in the trailer are dust, Dust2, Aztec, Nuke, inferno, Italy and Office. As well as the classic arsenal of weaponry CS: GO will feature a few new additions including a decoy grenade and a Molotov cocktail, which is shown in the trailer.
The trailer also reveals cross-platform play as well as mouse and keyboard support for PS3 players. Check out the trailer below to see it in action.
