Atlus, the US publisher of Persona 2: Innocent Sin on PSP, has confirmed the game will be out in the States on September 20.

Left without a UK publisher for some time, UK-based firm Ghostlight finally picked up the title in August, confirming a launch east of the Atlantic later this year.
Innocent Sin takes place in Sumaru City and follows the exploits of a high school student called Tatsuya Suou. After the city is cursed, rumours begin to come true once they have been spread by enough people.
The game features an interesting 'rumormonger' mechanic that allows players to spread their own rumours throughout the community, as well as summon a variety of mythical Personas during the game's turn-based battles.

Sounds intriguing and it's always good to see the more unconventional games getting recognition outside Japan and the US.
