Shinobi 3DS gameplay trailer flicks in

See Sega's classic revived on 3DS

Sega has released this new trailer for Shinobi on 3DS.

After a brief story cinematic you'll see in-game action with the player ninja-slapping his way through a variety of environments.

Developed by Griptonite Games, Shinobi will feature classic side-scrolling action gameplay presented in 2.5D and mixed with "several exciting new features such as StreetPass and a large assortment of achievements and challenges to unlock".

It all looks a bit sub-par visually for 3DS - which has some stunning-looking games on it already - almost like is was speedily ported from DS. But it could still be fun.

If this was an 800 point XBLA title, I'd buy it without even thinking about it. If it was a 1200 point title, I'd think about it, and probably get it anyway.
As a full price retail title, this has epic commercial failure written all over it.

It looks smoother then it'd probably be on the DS.

Looks good. You could just port Outland, and you'd probably have about the same game though. Nonetheless, I'll be picking this up.
