Nintendo has delayed Kid Icarus: Uprising to Q1 2012.
Originally announced as a 2011 release, the Starfox-style on-rails action game will now not see its release until after you've scoffed mince pies and got all emotional about just another New Years Day.
This was confirmed today during Nintendo's pre-TGS 3DS conference.
Nintendo did, however, announce that animation studios Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell) and Studio 4C (Catherine) and Shaft (Negima) will be releasing 3D animation movies to promote the game (translation via Siliconera). These will likely appear via the Nintendo Video app on 3DS.
