Nintendo 3DS users will finally be able to record 3D videos in November.
Although the ability to take 3D photos and view 3D videos has been available on the 3DS for some time, the actual recording of 3D video has remained elusive.
Iwata mentioned the possibility of adding 3D recording functionality way back in January and Nintendo has today announced that it will be added to the handheld via a system update in November.
"People will be able to record and view moments from birthday parties, football games and holiday events," a Nintendo spokesperson said. Thanks for the pastime suggestions.
You'll also be able to create your own "original 3D productions", which hints towards some sort of editing suite on the device, although no more information has been given on that yet.
