Mario Tennis on the Gamecube was a brilliantly fun tennis game utterly RUINED by the ridiculous and annoying power shots.

If it had had the option of turning them off it would have been a stone cold classic, so if with this new Mario Tennis Camelot beef up the RPG elements ala Mario Golf on the DS and get rid of the game breaking powershots that shat all over the GC version then all will be good.

It did have that option! Anyway, you should have played the 64 version. It was like its GC sibling without the craziness.

Why they never made this game for the wii I have no idea.

If ever a game was perfectly suited to a console it's mario tennis on the wii. I think they did a remake of the old one didn't they? Not a new one though.
