Valve's working with Counter-Strike fans to incorporate popular mod Gun Game into upcoming XBLA, PSN and PC update, Counterstrike: Global Offensive.
'Arsenal Mode' is based on fan-favourite Counter-Strike: Source mod, and new GO versions Arsenal: Arms Race and Arsenal: Demolition will add eight new maps, says Valve.
Michael Barr, project lead of Gun Game, said: "We are excited that Valve reached out and is working with us to ensure Arsenal Mode is the best version of Gun Game."
Global Offensive is being developed simultaneously for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and will launch with at least seven maps, accommodating the game's trademark bomb defusal and hostage rescue modes.
Maps include classics such as dust, Dust2, Aztec, Nuke, inferno, Italy and Office. As well as the classic arsenal of weaponry CS: GO will also feature a few new additions including a decoy grenade and a Molotov cocktail.
