If you're not into all this shooty, explody, chainsawing-aliens-in-half malarkey, and you'd rather a nice puppy running about on your screen, here's one for you.
The Sims 3 Pets Expansion is out on October 21 and EA's released a nice little demo for PC that lets you create your dream pet, ready for the full game next month.
"Using the robust tools, players start by choosing from one of more than 100 breeds of cats and dogs or a horse of their liking," explains EA. "players can change the length and width of the snout and ears, texture of the fur or even the color of the eyes. Using the new layer system, players can recreate their childhood pet by adding different layers of markings along the body or create a hybrid of their dreams."
Once you're done creating your pet you can save it and import it into the full game, where all manner of things that don't involve killing stuff is possible, and share them online with friends who also aren't currently stamping on Locust face. You can download the demo here.
So there you have it. Now, excuse us while we go chainsaw some fools.
