Watch experts play Soul Calibur 5

Maxi faces off with Siegfried in 10-minute gameplay video

Namco Bandai and French site SoulCalibur.fr have fired off a 10-minute gameplay video of Soul Calibur V, showing expert French players going at it.

You'll see multiple close battles between classic SC characters Maxi and Siegfried in a desolate and dark outdoor environment.

Namco also recently released a sweet trailer that focuses on the epic stories behind the characters of Soul Calibur. Well worth a watch.

    Well I played it and I wasn't blown away, they talked about big changes and there was f**k all. I could have been playing Soul Calibur 4 with a different title screen...yes I was disappointed. Most of the innovation with 3D fighters comes from Sega but even that particular well at AM2 has run dry.
