Minecraft's exclusivity to Sony's Xperia Play device is days from its end.
Developer Mojang has confirmed the popular first-person building/adventure/everything game will be released for Android devices this Thursday, September 29.
While looking and playing almost identically to the PC version of the game (thanks to its inherently simple looks and gameplay anyway), Markus Persson, founder of Mojang, has said Minecraft - Pocket Edition will not receive every update that the PC original gets, but rather will be granted those features that "make sense" for the touch-screen devices.
The game has also been confirmed for an iOS release, but is yet to get a date. Below is a video of the Pocket Edition in action (thanks Pocket Gamer).
