Valve has announced it will be releasing free DLC for Portal 2 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 4.
The DLC, titled 'Peer Review', introduces new challenges for players to solve as P-Body and Atlas, the stars of Portal 2's co-operative campaign. Along with the usual gauntlet of puzzles GLaDOS will also be making an appearance, no doubt inflicting her trademark brand of hilariously cruel beratement on the loveable duo.
As well as the extra co-op puzzles Peer Review also includes a single-player and co-op Challenge Mode complete with leaderboards for gloating purposes. The DLC will be available for free through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network and delivered via an automatic update for Steam users.
As an added treat Valve has also released the remainder of the excellent Portal 2 soundtrack. Definitely worth a listen.
Last month Valve boss Gabe Newell said the PC version of Portal 2 performed much better than its console counterparts.
