Uncharted 3 multiplayer hits EU PS Plus this week

Get a head start on multiplayer, carry over progress

Uncharted 3's full multiplayer suite will be made available to European PlayStation Plus subscribers this Wednesday.

A message on the EU PlayStation blog confirms that for now at least, PlayStation Plus will be the only route to Uncharted 3 multiplayer from October 5 in Europe, South Africa, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

"This is a great way to get a head start on leveling up your Uncharted 3 multiplayer profile - Naughty Dog have made sure that key aspects of your progress during the competitive multiplayer experience, will carry over into the final retail copy of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception," it says. "We'll have more details on how that works very, very soon."

It looks likely this morning that Uncharted 3 will make use of Sony's PSN Pass, making it the second game to carry the feature following Resistance 3.
