Sony Online Entertainment has revealed Overkill Software's upcoming PS3 and PC shooter PAYDAY: The Heist will now launch later than expected in October.
The game was originally scheduled for release on PSN this week, but will now arrive later in the month.
Sony said in an official statement that the delay is aimed at "ensuring the overall game quality and potential score for all heist team members".
It also assured fans that PAYDAY will still be free for those who purchase all four games as part of its PlayStation Network PLAY promotion.
After seeing PAYDAY at E3 in June, PC Gamer's Tim Edwards said: "It's simply stolen the show for me." Read what why that was the case here.
