A video game based on Chucky, the murderous doll at the centre of the Child's Play horror films, is in the works.
TikGames are taking on development duties and are the first company to gain game rights for the franchise.
"We're proud to be able to bring a fan-favourite movie character, such as Chucky, to gaming platforms," said co founder and vice president of publishing for TikGames Alex Tikman.
"Fans have been asking for a Chucky game for years and, soon, gamers around the world will be able to enjoy highly-entertaining, interactive, downright gory experiences with this brand."
TikGames has in the past created smaller titles that have come to PC and Xbox Live Arcade, which should give you some indication of what shape the studio's Child's Play game could take.

can u imagine a game in the mold of Amnesia: The Dark Descent; wandering round a sandbox hotel in the dark trying to escape and all the while a little malevolent doll is stalkin u through the halls. I mean can you imagine with no weapons crawling through a tight air-vent with a little flashlight and u round the corner and crawling towards you is a deranged doll.

i could kinda see this playing like that naughty bear game, u just play chucky wandering round battering peopel am pretty sure there be some jamie bulger inclusion into anything dailymail publishes too, that'll all get stirred up again and likely his parents will be making some stereotypical statement edited to the papers own needs. the first 2 films were pretty great, they kinda went a bit downhill after tho, bride/son of chuicky was deffinitly too far.

With 56 million Xboxes sold, 53 Million PS3s, 85 million Wiis, 65 million PSPs, 120 million DS's and god knows how many hundreds of millions of iPods, Pads, gaming laptops, PCs etc you would hope people would realise games cant be THAT bad - christ alive 200 million people at least game, if gaming turned you into a psycho killer the world would be doomed!
