The only other new release to make the top 40 is NBA 2K12, which debuts at No.12.

I'm loving Dark Souls, pure old school gaming for the current Generation.

I'm loving Rage on PS3, sure there are momemts of texture pop in (not as many as others would have you believe) but it doesnt get in the way of a good game. Not surprised an annual update sport sim has 2nd week at no1 as thats what sells. Saw an advert for Just Dance 3 over the weeked, it saddens me that this 'game' will likely sell by bucket load when we've seen in this generation alone some amazing games not sell to well cos the public are f**king idiots

Loving Rage, its true what they say, only id seem to know how to create a great gaming shotgun. The only fault i can see with it so far is when you die in a large area, like the wasteland, and forgot to save the game it kicks you right back to the start of said area and that can sometimes mean a good 15-20 minutes of progress you've lost.

That's a very strong looking top ten. Good times.

It'd be nice to see some originality grace the number one spot. I'll never understand yearly updates of sports titles. It's just the same as the previous one with updated haircuts for the players. Rage is deserving of the success and it's also great to see Dark Souls, a game aimed at a niche market selling so well.
