Forza 4 first race gameplay movie

Rev up your Ferrari for a tour around the Alps

Forza Motorsport 4 is revving its engine with a throaty roar for the go this Friday and to celebrate its release we're taking a week look at some of the performance cars and motors you'll get to drive in the game.

Today's item is the initial one lap celebration of speed you'll get to enjoy, the very first race in career mode which sees you whizzing around the Bernese Alps in a Ferrari 458 Italia on the hottest of hot laps.

More Forza goodies tomorrow, when we promise to take James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 for a spin.

We've also got a feature on your first few hours with Forza, which should give you some insight into the career modes of the game. Enjoy.

whilst i do love these audio slideshows, how come the bloody adverts manage to provide actual moving video yet the "main event" runs as a slideshow?

The Alps. Again. Is this the only new circuit in the game? I've always disliked snowy levels in games. Why? Because they're white. And white is incredibly bland. Give me colour, please.

Off topic: I'd bet Lost Planet would have sold well if it hadn't been set on the ice, in the snow, all the time.
Developers, when there's a whole spectrum of colours to choose from, make white (yes, I know it's not a colour) your very last choice.

Ha! That's how I used to play Need for Speed. Going round corners by driving into other cars :D

Played the demo and it dun' alf look gorjas! But then I stopped playing in baby mode and struggled to come 4th... Simulation racing games aren't my strong point.
