KEYS TO THE CITY
The last two Dead Rising games have flirted with an open-world format. The entirety of the first game took place in a sprawling, multi-area mall and its sequel dipped its toes into the waters with Fortune City, a Las Vegas strip inspired setting.
For the third game we'd like to see Capcom dive head-first into the open-world genre and take the zombie outbreak city wide.
The expanse of Fortune City was somewhat marred by the singular aesthetic that dominated much of its landscape. Our personal setting suggestion is inspired by hours worth of reading, watching and thinking about The Walking Dead: an urban city.
This would mean Capcom could experiment with thematic variety and introduce all kinds of distinctly themed and designed playgrounds. Imagine the zombie slaying opportunities a city with a mall area, a casino strip, a school, a hospital and a prison could offer.
