The Best Downloadable Game at the Golden Joystick Awards 2011 is the excellent Minecraft, it's been announced.
Minecraft is a sandbox building indie game written by Swedish creator Markus "Notch" Persson and now by his company, Mojang, formed from the proceeds of the game. It was released on PC in May 2009 and is now headed to Xbox Live.
Runners up places in the Downloadable category went to XBLA and PSN hit Limbo, plus Sony's Dead Nation.
