Hulu confirmed for 3DS, Wii

US-only TV streaming service on its way to Nintendo console

Nintendo has confirmed that TV streaming service Hulu is headed to the 3DS and Wii.

Hulu is a US-only service that lets subscribers watch past and present TV shows and series from major US networks including ABC, FOX and NBC.

Although it's yet to get a firm release date, Hulu will arrive on Nintendo's machines before the year's out, confirms Nintendo.

Subscriptions to the service currently cost $7.99 a month. Hulu has already released on Xbox, PS3 and iOS devices.

Nintendo has also recently confirmed that next month's Nintendo 3DS update will introduce the ability for users to capture their own 3D videos.
