Arkham City iOS app will help you find stuff

Official map app arrives to guide you through the city

If you've been finding the new more open-world Batman: Arkham City a daunting place to navigate, whip out your iPhone.

An official Arkham City Map App has been release on the iOS App Store to help guide you through the dense city streets.

We're not usually fans of guide apps (there are plenty of free players guides on the web) but this one sounds pretty cool. It's got interactive maps of every area, marks the locations of every Riddler trophy, and allows you to track your progress as you grab over 350 collectibles.

It costs $2.99, but if you're a completist and can't get enough of Batman's new quest it might be worth a look.

Rocksteady recently released the system requirements/recommendations for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City.

The CE, for all it's codes, artbook, Batman statue, accompanying Batman features BD only contains an 8 page vanilla-booklet(all made up of small print, no help at all). There is NO info in the booklet on how to hang from buildings for instance, I was told once in-game how to hang Batman, but by the next day, in the utter influx of game info I was having to learn, I could not remember how to hang it, and frustratingly could not find the info either in that hintless manual, nor in the in-game menus, nor by trying buttons on the controller. Same with the annoying Riddler enigmas. Sure they are Riddles, but a hint on what colour Riddle requires which gadget, or where to start them from would not go amiss. It seems little things like this have been intentionaly left out so we buy the $40 game guide, or purchase the app, or want to bash the dev's head againt the HD screen. Isn't $NZ189.00 for the CE along with all the future dlc which are forthcoming enough of my money off of me already... Sheesh. gg otherwise. Love the accompanying BD too...)

Just got all 440 riddles done today. Edwards got nothing on me. Whats the point of the challenge if your using an app? Riddler even makes fun of you about using the internet for help in the game.

Why does stuff like this never get released on Android? It doesn't make sense, especially as Android has a much bigger share of the smartphone market than Apple does.

Answers on a postcard? (if any of you crazy kids know what a postcard is)

I'd almost be tempted if it was on Android as I am determined to get as much of the riddler stuff done as possible, and some of them look darn puzzling. But, as we know, iOS is always the one to get this kind of stuff.
