Grand Theft Auto V will take place in San Andreas, the game's just-released GTA 5 trailer has officially revealed.
As rumoured, GTA 5 includes realistic takes on Los Angeles and its California surroundings, including Hollywood ('Vinewood') and rural hills and valleys.
The game's protagonist (who we may or may not see in the trailer) explains why he moved to the area to a backdrop of jet-skis, golf courses, mountains and sun-kissed beaches with palm trees.
"I wanted to retire from what I was doing, you know, from that, that line of work, be a good guy for once, a family man. So I bought a big house, I came here, put my feet up and thought I'd be a dad like all the other dads. My kids, they'd be like the kids on TV, we'd play ball and sit in the sun, but, you know how it is."
That's the cue for the music - Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake by British group The Small Faces - to pick up in tempo as we're shown a montage of California's darker side, from criminal acts and impoverished people to police chases. Basically, it looks like the San Andreas sequel you've all been asking for.
Rockstar's released no platforms or release date for GTA 5 as yet.
