SCEA has confirmed it will release Heavy Rain: Director's Cut in US stores on November 8.

Here's the full list:
- Complete, original game, Heavy Rain
- Heavy Rain Chronicles: Episode 1 - The Taxidermist DLC
- Heavy Rain Original Videogame Score by award-winning film and television composer, Normand Corbeil (16 tracks)
- New front-end menu and interface with built-in Move support
- A series of 8 "Making of" Bonus Videos
- Three Dynamic Themes (Heavy Rain, Heavy Rain ARI Forest, Heavy Rain ARI Mars)
- 15 additional pieces of new concept art
- 2 bonus Trailers (Thank You Trailer, Love Trailer)
That lot will only set you back $29,99, making it a no-brainer for anyone who doesn't have the game already.
Sony is also making the Heavy Rain Crime Scene Dynamic Theme for PS3 free via the PS Store from November 8. There's as yet no release date for the Director's Cut in UK.
And this is the closest you'll get to a new Quantic Dream release this year, as the developer's boss man David Cage has pretty much stamped on chances of us seeing a Heavy Rain sequel from the studio, claiming he's "not in this business to make money".

I really wanted to like this(after loving Fahrenheit),but really hated it in fact i would go as far as it was one of my biggest disappointing titles this gen,i am still glad it has its fans though as i am interested to see Quantic Dream's next project and hope that i like it as much as Fahrenheit

Same here. I heard that plan got squashed when Sony convinced them to integrate Move into the game.

You would think they would change the name, seeing as there is no Episode 2, nor will there ever be.

Not a game for everyone but I loved it.
Like the comments above, baffled by the lack of DLC following suggestions made at the game's release.
I tried replaying the game when the move patch came online but, for me anyway, found it add nothing to gameplay and actually preferred controller. Oh well Move wand, back behind the TV to resume your role as an overpriced dust collector then...

Once was enough. Didn't hate it but it was a disappointment

isnt this just the american version of what we already got as heavy rain move edition since that already had everything listed here (unless you bought the platinum version of the move edition which didnt even have the move edition on the disc and required a 1.4gb download to add move compatibility).
