New character pack for multiplayer mode coming next month

Ubisoft will released 'The Ancestors Character Pack' - the first DLC for it's latest blockbuster - on December 13.

The pack will contain four new multiplayer characters: the Privateer, Corsair, the Brigand and the Gladiator.

Each one will have their own "unique taunts, weapons and stylised assassination moves", explains Ubi.

It'll cost $3.99 on the PS Store or 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.

We've been playing a lot of Assassin's Creed Revelations recently ahead of the game's release today, both in preparation for our review and with the aim of making a few videos to help inform your purchasing decisions. Check out the first 15 minutes of the game here.

What's the point; what will this add to the game?

Ubisoft: please focus on single-player DLC. Thanks.

Agreed. Sounds like I am going to grit my teeth and play through a ho hum annoying tower defence turd thats been dropped into my game, as well as a portal rip off, just to get at my Assassins Creed game. I am really not going to get much of this played until I get a heck of a lot further into Skyrim anyway though...
