Kojima talks MGS 5, Rising in new OPM

Mag teases Metal Gear creator's most candid interview ever

Issue 65 of Official PlayStation Magazine UK will feature a world exclusive chat and photo shoot with Hideo Kojima, the first developer to appear on the publication's cover in its 16-year history.

In what is billed as the Metal Gear creator's most candid interview ever, Kojima will offer open and frank opinions on Metal Gear Solid Rising and openly discuss plans for Metal Gear Solid 5 and the mysterious Project Ogre for the first time.

Hitting stores on November 29, issue 65 will also feature a rundown of all the juicy Grand Theft Auto V details, reflect on the best and worst PlayStation moments of 2011, and review all the big Christmas releases.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is set to reappear at the Spike VGAs next month after a long period of silence about the game, during which rumours have circulated that Bayonetta maker Platinum Games could have replaced Kojima Productions as developer.

Kokima? Oh CVG, you silly thing. People will think you're an Xbox fanboy.

I love Platinum games but they are playing on a different ball park to Kojima Productions. I hope that rumor isn't true.

I have a really hard time believe that rumor about Platinum. Konami would never replace Kojima on a project, hell they tossed his name in the mix on Castlevania just to sell more copies. I enjoy Platinum's work, but I don't think Metal Gear Solid is up their solid anyway. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the game is looking really different, from when we last saw it.

The wait for Metal Gear Rising feels painstakingly long! I love the character of Raiden, yes even whiny MGS2 Raiden and if they can create a masterpiece like MGS4 it will surely be worth the wait! I buy the mag every month anyway but quality time with Kojima is a welcome bonus.
