Skyrim PC mods: The best so far

Spiders, maps and beautiful skies...

In our ongoing Elder Scrolls V obsession we've already run down the funniest Skyrim glitches (keep sending us those - we love 'em) and written a Skyrim guide and this morning we've grabbed a few videos of the early PC mods currently popular among Skyrim fans.

As always, if you've downloaded - or made - a mod worthy of our list, let us know about it in the comments below. Here are our top three..

Enhanced night sky mod by CptJoker

This removes the bland night sky of vanilla Skyrim and replaces it with a deliciously packed starfest. The constellations haven't been altered though, so you can still check your horoscope if that's your thing.

No Spiders by Luthien Anarion

One for the arachnophobes - it removes all the massive spiders from Skyrim and replaces them with happy, dancing bears. Unfortunately they move like stuffed, dancing zom-bears, which are completely hilarious/terrifying.

Map in full 3D by Mikanoshi

This replaces the slightly rubbish Skyrim map with a fully scalable, scrolling map that's like a Nordic version of Google Streetview. Amazing stuff.
