Battlefield 3 PC: 'Significant' update next week

Improved stability, balancing and user interface on the way

DICE will release a "significant" update for the PC version of Battlefield 3, with console versions to follow shortly after.

Improvement will range from user interface and weapon balance improvements, to more back-end things like stability.

In DICE's own words: "You'll see improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date - plus we're removing the so called "negative mouse acceleration" that some of you have experienced."

A patch for the console versions will apparently "follow shortly after", as DICE explains that "console patches take a bit longer due to the certification requirements."

BF3 players will also be looking forward to the 'Back to Karkand' expansion next month, which adds new maps, weapons and vehicles to already epic package. Check out an awesome new video of it through that link.
