Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be receiving an update patch within a couple of weeks.

Some of the game's glitches are actually rather funny, others are not much fun at all. But bugs are bugs and they need squishing.
"PS3 & 360 updates have been submitted for certification," confirmed Hines, adding "PC coming too."
There's no firm date on the patch release but Hines estimates it'll arrive on the week after America's Thanksgiving day, which places its release at some point in the week beginning Sunday November 27.
Read CVG's Skyrim guide for tips and cheats.
Thanks Joystiq.

In spite of the bugs this game has I still love it and it's in my top 5 best games of all time if not number 1.
The bugs that I experienced were minor but enough to irritate and I hope they are looking into them.
Stuttering tree shadow movements
Weapon mounts in home not allowing you to place weapons on them
Dancing Dragon corpses in the middle of town (fixed with a fire bolt launch but still)
Shouts not always working during combat
Money back exploit from trainer/followers
People not always recognising what race you are

No update needed the modders should sort it out faster than Bethesda, looks & runs a lot better with mods.

Touch wood but I'm about 20 hours in and the only bug I've seen so far is a mammoth in the distance suddenly take off into the air. And to be fair, who's to say it wasn't enchanted in some way? For all I know it might have been wearing the tusk of levitation...

There's Mammoths?! I've played for 25hours and not seen one
Anyway I've not experienced any game breaking glitches so far, fell through the floor once but I was jumping up and down next to a wall for no apparent reason

Im 45 hours in and can say with complete honesty that the only bug I need fixing is the lag issue on the ps3. For me it only becomes an issue after several hours playing but when it hits it does make the game unplayable.
Also, 25 hours and havent seen any mammoths...have you been living in a cave for all that time? There are mammoths right next to whiterun/Dragonreach, theyre even marked on the map.

This. I'm at level 31 and had clocked up an impressive 65 hours when the appalling slowdown hit me. I'm not usually arsed about a minor dip in framerate but it's constant and unplayable on my old 80g PS3. I've started a new high elf thief in the meantime so i'll be able to play it smooth (until the saves start hitting 7mb again anyway).

50 hours played and the only issue was when I went to a camp with a big fire in the middle. Went close the fire and the framerate slowed, moved away and was ok again. Seen the dancing Dragon corpse aswell but thought it was meant to be the ghost of the dragon. Got to say the game is awesome and the only complaints I have are minor issues, like the auto-save creating a new save file all the time so you end up with hundreds of saves.

I haven't noticed any bugs that have been game-breaking in any way. However, there are some bizarre, and quite frankly annoying bugs, which do dampen the overall experience..

42 hours in now and i'm getting occassional slow-down but doesnt last for long.
Seen loads of mammoths they are usually being herded by giants.
Giants are a... giant pain in the @rse though, they can be useful for helping take down a dragon but usual turn they're attention to you after.
Loving this game though been playing through as a battle mage but can see me re-playing it again shortly after i'm finished as a ninja archer.
