A slight peek at Beyond Good & Evil 2 art in video

Ubisoft shows off art at recent expo, someone gets their mobile phone out

Someone's snuck a mobile phone-recorded video out of a recent Ubisoft presentation showing off art for Beyond Good & Evil 2.

The video was taken at a presentation at the recent Montpellier In Game 2011 expo in which BG&E creator Michel Ancel was on stage with Prince of Persia creator Jorden Mechner, reports VG247.

BG&E 2 is, unfortunately for those looking forward to it, being held back for next-gen consoles, Ubisoft has confirmed. Explaining why to GamesRadar recently, Ancel admitted the studio has been "working on it for a long time" and that it has "had some technical issues".

It'll all work out for the better running on powerful next-gen hardware - that's the positive outlook.

Here's the video. Be warned, it's only a slight peek for those VERY excited for the sequel.
