Epic has confirmed that Infinity Blade 2 will cost $6.99 when it lands on the iOS App Store on December 1.
That's considerably more than the typically throw-away price tags of typical iPhone games, but given this game's visual splendor and the quality of its predecessor, we'd say it'll be worth it.
According to developer Chair (Shadow Complex), the follow-up will "build upon the addictive gameplay and breathtaking visuals of the original game" and include dozens of areas in an "evolving world."
Chair says the new game will include "new fighting styles and weapon classes with deep role-playing elements."

Well if it's as good or better than Infinity Blade then in context compared to true handhelds it's cheap.
This game works well on touchscreen due to it being designed for touch controls (hey i'm betting infinity blade will hit vita at some point - whether it'll be this price is another thing).

still got the first one on my Ipad 2, played it for about 30 mins never went back swipe swipe boring imo, but gaming on IOS has no appeal to me anyway.

Well it wouldnt if you dont like 'swipe swipe' gaming since thats bascially all touchscreen games!
The first infinity blade was great but I kept getting to a point where I was earning loads of XP and mastering my gear but didnt get enough gold to buy new stuff and keep receiving xp points.
Guess they do this on purpose so you end up buying gold from them.
