Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will launch on March 8, 2012.
Series creator Hideo Kojima has just announced the launch date, although he didn't specify whether it was Japan specific or a worldwide one, Kotaku reports. We've contacted Konami for clarification.
Featuring re-imagined gameplay on two screens and a camouflage photography system allowing you to take pictures of in-game items and dress Snake in similarly coloured skins, the game was originally planned for a 2011 release.

Kojima has told the latest issue of OPM that his studio will "probably have to make" Metal Gear Solid 5 "at some point".
