A resume belonging to a Visceral Games writer has hinted at the existence of Dante's Inferno 2.

The vagueness of the statement is offset by a link directing readers to the Super Bowl commercial for the first Dante's Inferno game, suggesting that Visceral is working on a sequel. Of course there's an equal chance that the studio was working on Dante's Inferno 2 in the past but has since ditched it.
In June last year Visceral posted a job advert stating the studio was looking for an environment artist to work on "the sequel to a major new IP at the award-winning Visceral Games," leading many to speculate a sequel was in production.
The rumors intensified a few months later when a second job post advertised for a new recruit to work a "sequel to a major new IP at the award-winning Visceral Games, creators of Dead Space and Dante's Inferno".
Do any of you fancy another Dante's?

Cool. I loved DI with it's smooth 60fps. Will it be this gen or are they working on it for next? Who knows....

Meh, the original felt far too short, and just screamed 'god of war knock-off' from the start. Wouldnt care much if they released a sequel.

I very much enjoyed the first, although I can't really see what they could do with a sequel to make it fresh.

I'd really like to see a sequel to this, although overshadowed due to its obvious similarities to God of War I actually enjoyed this game more. It didn't have the frustrating puzzles and obstacles that hindered God of War but kept the brutal violence and engrossing setting and narrative.
