A man has remade Grand Theft Auto 5's debut trailer in GTA 4's Liberty City, and we have to say he's done a rather brilliant job of it.
In case you've had a captured-by-Somali-pirates calibre break from the general public in the last few weeks, the first look at Rockstar's new GTA crash landed onto the internet earlier this month.
The game's been widely tipped by analysts to launch next summer, possibly as early as June "to steal everyone's attention" before E3.

That is so cool. Really well done. Shows how well gta iv has aged in the last 3 years... still looks bloody nice!

I did have quite a giggle at the blocky statue though. xD
But agreed, nicely done!

Very nice but in a way disappointing seeing how very familiar certain areas are looking but done the right way I guess anything can be made to look similar to something.. although it is highlighting a few things I was cautious about with the trailer, "Some streets look reused..".
Ah well, on with the next trailer please Rockstar!

Are you kidding? In comparison to todays games this looks like San Andreas
Couldn't believe how shoddy the character models and animation looked

I would have preferred an HD remake of Vice City. That was the best GTA game.

There's a mod thats remaking Vice City in GTAIV. Also if you own a computer that is less than about 5 years old then you could play Vice City in HD on that....
