Is 'Title Fight' Sony's answer to Smash Bros.?

All-star brawler in development for PS3 - report

Sony is about to reveal its answer to Nintendo's popular all-star fighter series, Super Smash Bros, according to a rumour.

Currently codenamed Title Fight, all the clues - gathered via NeoGAF and the Paul Gale Network - point to new studio SuperBot Entertainment as the developer of the new PS3 fighting game that will star characters from across Sony's most iconic franchises.

Certainly the most definitive evidence comes from a series of Tweets from the now-deleted Twitter account of SuperBot level designer Chris Molina, who posted a screenshot of Twisted Metal character Sweet Tooth in the game.

Other characters rumored by PGN include Kratos, Nathan Drake, Fat Princess, Sly Cooper, Parappa and Colonel Mael Radec (Killzone 3). James Bond is also said to be under consideration.

A series of other shots Tweeted by Molina (pictured) show the dev team playing with arcade sticks. Molina also pointed to Sony's recent 'Michael' trailer - a short flick featuring multiple Sony characters - as "vaguely foreshadowing our soon to be announced title".

It's no surprise links to his Twitter feed return the message: "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!"

The game is yet to be officially confirmed but given the evidence it seems all but certain.
