Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss Jim Ryan has admitted he'd rather Insomniac Games was still a PlayStation exclusive developer.

However, he went on to add: "The strength of our internal studios at the moment means it isn't the end of the world by any means."
Ryan also hinted that there are some big PlayStation reveals on the way.
"There's a bunch of stuff at the back end of the year - I'll just tease you with this because I not going to tell you what because I can't - which I'm very excited by, and you'll hear about [them] over the coming months. [They'll] give you plenty to write about."
We're expecting at least one major PlayStation exclusive reveal at the VGAs on December 10, with recent speculation pointing towards either God of War 4 or a Smash Bros. style game, which is rumoured to be called Title Fight.

Me to :-/ But i only really loved R&C games from them(Resistance was ok) Hopefully they could still do a PS3 exclusive game in the future? Why not? (hopefully another R&C game because i never get bored of them. They are always brilliant)

A Sony Boss would prefer a development studio to only make games for a Sony platform?
Who would have guessed?
Breaking news: Bill Gates prefers the Xbox 360 over PS3 and water makes you wet!

Much as Microsoft would undoubtedly prefer Bungie to still develop exclusively for Xbox, it's just common sense really.

I think the 'probably' says it all here.
Yes of course they'd rather still have Insomniac but the 'probably' to me suggests he doesn't think they'll find success with multi-platform titles.
I doubt they'll be successful, looking at the track record of recent EA Partners titles like APB, Bulletstorm and Shadows of the Damned.
Failure is almost guaranteed.

I Have a sneeky feeling that they might find great success on the wii u.
My ps3 is on ebay right now so it be good if they decided to release something for the wii-u, as i'm fond of rachet and clank.

Honestly, i'd prefer as many console exclusives as possible. Remember a few gens ago when the Saturn, PS1, & N64 were around? It was great, 3 different consoles with totally different games for each. It was truly awesome:)

Ratchet and Clank has run it's course. All 4 One is pretty dire and smacks of not knowing what to do next, and Resistance has been third rate from day one. Never been impressed by it. I don't think it's any loss, in all honesty. The multiplatform game they're talking about Overstrike, sounds utterly unoriginal so far. I think Insomniac should look at what happened to poor Bizarre Creations when they went to a less than patient, supportive or agreeable publisher.

Naughty Dog make Jak and Daxter NOT Insomniac!

Yeah, that would rock! since everythings changing they could do a new ratchet and clank only on ps3/psvita game but not make it r&c future, they should make it r&c past. everyone prefers the good ol'medieval days to the future with....guns!!!! guns just suck

BioWare too. Hell, I'd have preferred BioWare to stay MS-exclusive. That way I wouldn't have had to watch EA destroy one of my favourite developers.
