Guardian Heroes devs working on new 3DS brawler

New fighter 'Code of Princess' headed to Japan in Q1 2012

Japanese developer Agatsuma Entertainment will release a new 3DS brawler titled 'Code of Princess' in Japan in Q1 2012.

According to the press release (via Siliconera), its development is being handled by the team behind the original Guardian Heroes, which is itself a reason to keep an eye on this one.

The game stars four playable characters, Solange, Ali Vava, Lady Zozo, and Allegro Nantabile Cantabile, each of whom have their own special moves and powers.

As you battle your way through the enemy hoards you'll earn experience and level up your characters' six attributes: vitality, piety, attack, defense, mind, and speed.

Also involved in development is Kinu Nishimura, the character designer on the unique DS puzzler 'Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors'.

Siliconera points out that this Japanese-region press release was sent out in English, which could signal the developer's interest in releasing it overseas. Here's hoping.
