Armored Core V screenshots show robot chaos

From Software has released some new in-game screenshots of its delayed mech action game, Armored Core V.

It was due to hit Japanese shelves in October this year with a western release to follow shortly after in early 2012, but the Japanese launch has been shoved back to January. With no date set prior, From Software made no mention of its release this side of the planet, but the delay is bound to have a knock-on effect.

The developer said the delay will allow them to implement the feedback it recently received via the online beta.

The game will feature more tactics-based gameplay than previous entries and will introduce huge team-based battles on a global scale with a persistent online world in which players fight over territory. Armored Core 5 will also have an offline mode.
