Skyrim PC patch adds 4GB RAM support

Bethesda makes a performance tweak for PC users

Bethesda has quietly released a new patch for the PC version of its critically acclaimed open-world RPG Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.


Patch 1.3.1 doesn't make any substantial changes to the game, and instead is intended for PC gearheads with four gigabytes of RAM in their machines.

Update 1.3.10 Notes (PC)
  • Support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware)
  • Fixed issue with accented characters not displaying properly at the end of a line
